In any relationship, love is a verb. Love takes work. Love is often messy and imperfect.

So, too, in the Church. Our deep love for one another as kin in the household of God takes work. It’s messy and imperfect, which is why we humbly gather to practice the faith, not to perfect it.

At Saint Mark’s, we take the nature and practice of our relationships seriously, setting a minimum threshold for our shared expectations and mutual accountability with two essential covenants for our life together.
