The Feast of the Ascension takes place 40 days after Easter, when we remember Christ’s triumphant return to heaven, just 10 days before we celebrate the arrival of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost Sunday.

Saint Mark’s Cathedral will be offering a Choral Eucharist at 7:30 p.m. on Ascension Day – the preacher will be The Reverend Bryan Bliss, and the Cathedral Choir will present music by Harold Darke, Ralph Vaughan Williams, and Edward Bairstow.
