Come join Saint Mark's Saturday book study group. All are welcome and we meet the second Saturday of the month.
We look at current issues facing us today which are complex. These complex issues can raise hard questions as to what we believe, how will I react and how would Jesus react in our situations?
We believe this year's selections will give us wisdom for our thought processes:
On May 20th the Saturday Book Group will be discussing “Man’s Search for Meaning” by Viktor Frankl. The message is that we cannot avoid suffering but we can choose how to cope with it, find meaning in it, and move forward. Central to the discussion is Frankl’s conviction that the primary human drive is not pleasure but what we find meaningful. All are welcome to join the discussion in the All Soul's Room from 10:00-11:00 on May 20th.
