Christian life is marked by many important Sacraments. Our Cathedral is honored to be present during life’s important changes and provide the Sacraments of Baptisms, Confirmation, Weddings, and Funerals.
At Saint Mark’s Holy Baptism is celebrated during liturgies on All Saints’ Sunday, November 5, 2017, and at the Easter Vigil, March 31, 2018.
Marriages and blessings mark the public covenant made between two people in the presence of God. It is a sacramental rite of the Episcopal Church and is joyously celebrated by all in attendance.
Confirmation is a sacramental rite during which a person commits to living out baptismal vows as an adult member of the Christian community.
It is our hope that all Christians will be buried from the church. At Saint Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral we work closely with our members to insure that end-of-life issues are addressed with pastoral concern and respect.
