Aged four through third grade, the Small Singers are named after Don Small, renowned Canon Musician at Saint Mark’s from 1972-1998. Small Singers will learn their songs during Children’s Worship, so all young participants are invited to robe and share music with the Cathedral service a few times a year (see more below). Small Singers learn about healthy breathing and vocal production, performance conduct, matching pitch, blended unison singing, and simple musical terms and symbols. For more information, contact director Rebecca Poppke to learn more.
Please meet by 9:45am in the Chapter House to find robes, rehearse, and line up for the Processional, all thought different services may require different robing strategies. Singers will process, share music from the front steps, de-robe during Children's Worship, and join families at the Peace. We are always looking for adults to help with robes and processing! Questions to Rebecca Poppke.
“Rejoice in The Lord Always”
“Silent Night” (verses 1-3)
(Pageant will require a different robing strategy.)
“Christ is alive” Hymn 182
(Please meet for robes by 8:30am.)
