The spiritual lives of children and families

Saint Mark’s Cathedral honors the spiritual lives of children and families, welcoming them to the nave in worship for any and all services. The sound of loud and wiggly kids is holy and a part of our worship.

Each Sunday morning, we offer family seating in the nave—directly in front of the lectern—so that children can see and experience the service. Baskets with toys and books are available in this area. We welcome families and the sounds they bring, wherever they choose to sit.

Children’s Worship

Children ages 3 - 7 are invited to participate in Children’s Worship, occurring every Sunday or the program year at the 10:30 service. Children (and any adults) who wish to join will be led by a Children’s Worship Leader during the Gradual Hymn to the Library. They will then experience fun, age-appropriate activities while learning about the Gospel. Children will return to the nave at the exchange of the Peace.
