Sunday Night Supper – November 9th 4:15-7:00 pm @ Plymouth Congregational

What: Gathering from 4:15 to 7:00 pm on the second Sunday of every month, at Plymouth Congregational Church, we prepare and serve over 100 neighborhood guests with hot meals.

When: Please arrive at your preferred time depending on which tasks you’re interested in:

  • Cooking shift: 2:00 PM (if anyone is interested in being part of the cooking team, please contact David Leussler.
  • Opening shift: lasts from roughly 4:00-6:00 pm and includes setup, distribution of bread/fruit/hygiene products, and serving guests.
  • Closing shift: lasts from roughly 5:00 pm-7:00 pm and includes serving guests and cleanup.

Location: Plymouth Congregational Church, 1900 Nicollet Ave. Park in the lot, enter through the main entrance and the front desk will direct you to our work area.

Where we work: We do this in a large kitchen and dining room in the church basement. Guests come into the dining room, dine in and/or pick up their items, and then they exit the building.

Bag request: If you have any spare grocery bags (for example, paper bags) that you wouldn’t mind donating, please bring them with you on Sunday so that guests can use them for takeout.
