Violins of Hope at Saint Mark’s

Violins of Hope
The Violins of Hope collection was founded by Israeli violinmaker Amnon Weinstein, who devoted his life to restoring instruments that had belonged to Jewish musicians before and during the Holocaust. The collection includes 70 restored instruments, each carrying a story of music, memory and survival, and is presented by the Minnesota JCC.
A selection of these instruments will be featured in the Art Gallery of Saint Mark’s from June 10 – 14. You are invited to view the instruments, engage in individual stories, and experience a few of the instruments in performance.
