Adult Formation – Episcopal 101
September 22 @ 9:15 am - 10:15 am
Every year St. Mark’s offers an opportunity for adults who want to understand the history, heritage, theology, practices, and commitments of the Cathedral, the Episcopal Church and the wider Anglican community to study these things in Episcopal 101 and 201. 101 is more introductory, and 201 going more in depth. You are welcome to join one or both.
This course is for anyone who is simply interested in who we are as a church, as well as for those who are considering membership in the Cathedral or Confirmation in the Episcopal Church. There will be two six-week sessions beginning on September 22 and running through December 15.
The sessions will be held at 9:15 in the Heritage Room and be led by members of the cathedral community—lay and clergy alike. Please consider taking part. We ask that if you would like to join Episcopal 101, especially if you are interested in becoming a member or getting confirmed, you make a commitment and effort to make it to every class.
