Adult Formation – Episcopal 201
November 24 @ 9:15 am - 10:15 am
Every year St. Mark’s offers an opportunity for adults who want to understand the history, heritage, theology, practices, and commitments of the Cathedral, the Episcopal Church and the wider Anglican community to study these things in Episcopal 101 and 201. 101 is more introductory, and 201 going more in depth. You are welcome to join one or both.
Episcopal 201 is for those who feel they have an introductory understanding of the Church and are wanting to go deeper in their knowledge and understanding of Christian beliefs. You are not required to go through 101 before 201, though it is recommended that you complete both if you are not yet a member of Saint Mark’s or confirmed in the Episcopal Church.
The sessions will be held at 9:15 in the Heritage Room and be led by members of the cathedral community—lay and clergy alike. Please consider taking part. We ask that if you would like to join Episcopal 201, especially if you are interested in becoming a member or getting confirmed, you make a commitment and effort to make it to every class.
