Sheriff Witt Listening Session

Saint Mark's has the opportunity to host a listening session with Hennepin County Sheriff Witt. The Sheriff is wanting to learn more about the needs, perspective, and hopes of community members. This could be an opportunity to build relationships with law enforcement and hear the needs of communities that have historically been neglected by policing. In a time with increased violence against LGBTQ+ folks, particularly our trans community, and historic policy violence against people of color, this feels like a way to advocate for what is needed and hear the perspective of the community.
