Roof Replacement & Campus Safety Update
Construction
on the slate roof has begun with work now occurring dawn to dusk,
Monday–Saturday (paused during Holy Week). Activity remains
focused on the east side of the Nave for at
least the next 4 weeks.
Because
safety conditions change daily, the campus may be closed without
notice. Please make an appointment before coming so we can
ensure someone is available to greet you. Sign in and out at
the Welcome Center each time you visit.
For
everyone’s safety, enter and exit only through the Welcome Center.
The Carriage and Narthex doors are for emergency exit only and
will not be used for entrance until construction is complete. Please
follow all marked pathways and do not move or go around any
fences, barriers, or posted signs.
Parking
Parking
remains limited. Accessible parking is available on Sundays. The Vue
parking is not available for Saint Mark's parking.
Volunteers
will assist with accessible parking before the 10:30 a.m.
service—contact Mary Lusk if you can help.
Thank
you for your patience and cooperation as we move
through this important project together.
Mixed Blood
Presents Equitable Dinners
We are continuing the popular Equitable Dinners that brings together strangers and friends from diverse
backgrounds to experience theatre, share a meal, and talk about
complex issues.
The next dinner is Monday, March 23 at 6pm and will discuss Racial Equity. Reservation
is required, please reserve your seat at https://mixedblood.com/equitable-dinners/ and
save the date for our last of this series on Climate Resilience, June
22nd!
Forward Day
by Day
The latest Forward Day by Day editions are now
available in the Bookshop and throughout the Cathedral. Please enjoy
a complimentary copy, with gratitude to our Bookshop.
What makes
this year’s calendar truly special isn’t just the gorgeous photos—though you’ll find plenty of those. Inside
are snapshots of past and present choirs, candid behind‑the‑scenes
moments, and all the joyful shenanigans that make our community who
we are.
But this
calendar does more than delight your wall. It helps send our choir to
London this summer, supporting an unforgettable musical pilgrimage.
And the
real showstopper?
Every
Sunday and major feast day includes a QR code that takes you straight
to a recording of our choir singing the hymn of the day. It’s like
having your favorite hymns, and your favorite choir, right at your
fingertips whenever you want to listen.
If you’d
like to purchase one of these one‑of‑a‑kind calendars, simply see
Kristi Bergland or any choir member— they’ll be delighted to help
you.
What
better way to stay connected to the music and ministry of Saint
Mark’s all year long.
