The Feast of the Ascension takes place 40 days after Easter, when we remember Christ’s triumphant return to heaven, just 10 days before we celebrate the arrival of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost Sunday.
Saint Mark’s Cathedral will be offering a Choral Eucharist at 7:30 p.m. on Ascension Day – Cathedral Choir will present music by Harold Darke, as well as anthems appropriate for the day.
