Epsicopal 101 (Series)

This 4-week series is designed for people who are ready to learn more about the Episcopal church, or about Saint Mark’s, or would like a refresher! A fifth session is offered in person on Saturday, Nov. 4 and includes an instructed Eucharist, as well as opportunity to meet various ministry leaders. The Rev. Bryan Bliss is facilitator for this series.
Each of the weeks is taught by a different member of the ministry team, with time set aside weekly to connect with one another. This class will utilize the book “A People Called Episcopalians”, which is available through our Cathedral Bookshop or our online store available here. Other books recommended include “Always We Begin Again”, “Walk in Love: Episcopal Beliefs and Practices”, and “The Book of Common Prayer.”
This series is offered on Monday evenings, via Zoom. Dates are October 9, 16, 23 and 30, beginning at 6:30 p.m. and lasting just over an hour.
There is an additional Saturday morning which will be in person at Saint Mark’s. The focus will be to learn more about ministry opportunities and to share together in an instructed Eucharist. Saturday November 4, 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
