Identity Groups
Lasting Connections With a Shared Purpose
The following are ongoing groups based on age and stage, identity and interest. Frequency and content (social, learning, support and service) vary based on the needs of the group.
Children's Ministry
Saint Mark’s Cathedral honors the spiritual lives of children and families, welcoming them to the nave in worship for any and all services. The sound of loud and wiggly kids is holy and a part of our worship.
Youth Ministry
Saint Mark’s youth program provides a nurturing, informed, meaningful and fun path to spiritual adulthood grounded in our Baptismal Covenant and in a community of unconditional love and acceptance. We aim to support our youth on their spiritual journey as a continuous program from 6th through 12th grade.
Young Adults/Young Professionals
If you are in the age range of 22 into the 30’s, we have a group for you. Contact Abby Tillotson for information at abby.as.always@gmail.com.
Men's Ministry
Jay Phelan and Kent Rahm will be relaunching this ministry in the fall.
Reach out to Jay Phelan for more information.
Women's Ministry
This ministry gathers routinely to enjoy each other's company.
Contact Mary Lusk for more information.
SAAGES || Spiritually Active Adults: Growing, Exploring & Serving
SAAGES is a group for those around retirement age. We gather every month or so, typically on Thursday mornings. Offerings have included a field trip to Minnesota’s First Cathedral in Faribault, book discussions, Guthrie Plays, a yearly Advent party, expert presentations on wide-ranging topics, and more. Contact Christine Slater at SAAGES@ourcathedral.org for further information.
LGBTQ+ Ministry
An opportunity for LGBTQ+ individuals to connect. Contact Riley Davis at lgbtq@ourcathedral.org for details.
Knitting Group
Saint Mark’s has had a group of dedicated knitters for many years. We have provided over 500 prayer shawls for parishioners and continue to gather twice a month for fellowship, prayer and, of course, knitting. We welcome new knitters, no matter what your skill level is.
We meet on the first and third Tuesday of the month from 10:30 to 12:00 in the library. Please join us!
