Here is a recording of the interview on January 14, 2026 between Medaria Arradondo, the former police chief for the city of Minneapolis, and Rev. Dr. Jay Phelan, Theologian in Residence at Saint Mark's.

Medaria Arradondo is the current president and CEO of Optimus Sui Consulting and he serves on the Board of Commissioners for the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority_. He is also a member of the executive board of the Fentanyl—ft-ee Communities Foundation. And he is co-author of the new book, "Chief Rondo: Securing Justice for the Murder of George Floyd".
