The Weekly Connector
March 30, 2026
|
|
|
During this Holy Week and Easter season, all plate
offerings received from Palm Sunday through Easter will be
dedicated to the Migrant Support
Fund.
These funds are used to address immediate needs,
including:
· Keeping families safely together
· Providing basic
necessities such as food and housing
· Helping adults secure or
maintain the ability to work
· Assisting individuals in
avoiding incarceration when they have not been convicted of a
crime
Through this fund, our community is able to respond quickly and compassionately
when urgent needs arise. Your generosity becomes a living
expression of the Gospel—an act of hope in a world where many
feel forgotten.

Dean Search Update
We are pleased to report that your Search Committee
has made significant progress in the past month. We have completed
our interviews of the six candidates provided by the Bishop and have narrowed our focus to three of
those candidates. We expect to host each of them in
visits to Minneapolis by the end of April. At that point, we would hope to acknowledge a mutual call and
move forward to working through final details for that
invitation.
We ask you to keep the Search Committee and the
candidates in your prayers as we proceed to the final work of
selection and call. Please continue to check the Dean search page on our website
for further updates.
Roof Replacement & Campus Safety Update
Construction on the slate roof is paused during Holy
Week. However, work is still ongoing, please make an appointment
before coming so we can ensure someone is available to greet you.
For safety precautions around the roof work the full
Cathedral campus will be closed on April 7 from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
For everyone’s safety, enter and exit only through the
Welcome Center, including Sundays. Please follow all marked pathways
and do not move or go around any fences, barriers, or posted signs.
Information on parking options, and more, are on our website here.
