From 100 to 250 guests appear at the doors of Saint Mark’s on the second Sunday of each month, guests who may need a home, a job or just one hot meal. Volunteers for serving the dinner arrive at 4:30 on that Sunday afternoon and help to make the dinner experience a warm and inviting one for the guests. Other regular volunteers come in on Saturday morning and Sunday morning to prepare the food to be served.
Our chicken and rice is famous among these folks, and many say it’s the best of the Sunday night meals! If you’d like to assist with this worthy work, sign up online to let us know you are going to be there.
