Since May 2021, the REJ Team has been assisting our faith community in deepening and acting on a commitment to racial equity and justice. Specific recommendations to the Executive Council emerged from the Team’s careful analysis (summer and fall 2021) of a racial audit taken several months earlier of Saint Mark’s leadership. For Winter/Spring 2022, the Team developed two Adult Formation/Gather Round Zoom series: “Becoming the Beloved Community” and “Stepping Toward Racial Healing.”

Currently, the Team has launched a Saint Mark’s History Project, led by Monica Kruger, and oversees a “Racial Equity and Justice Opportunities” section in the weekly Connector. Please watch for upcoming opportunities!
